- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Carter and his staff go the distance to provide excellent care for your furbabies and show concern and courtesy to you. We won't take our babies anywhere else!! Not only is Jim Carter down to earth, he goes above and beyond, upholding the oathes he took. He is genuine, empathetic and truly cares about the wellbeing of your animals. Unlike Dr. Padgett in Alma,GA who through personal and painful experiences I learned to be heartless and his ethics are questionable at best!! He did fecals on tiny kittens I would take for first check ups, guess what? You're not supposed to probe felines ESPECIALLY kittens. Needless to say, nearly every kitten he checked died due to the probe and some sort of rupture which was heartbreaking. I despise Dr. Padgett.
